Hello!

My name is Olena Antoniuk and I am a financial director and since recently -  a writer! 

I write fairytales, stories and parables about the path towards oneself. 

Initially, writing was just a hobby for me. I enjoyed creating stories, which were causing warm emotions for myself and listeners. Later I realised that my texts could be useful for many people and there is something important for both -  children and grown-us. So, here is the Book One ‘Adventures and Dreams’ from the series ‘Tales for the Braves’. 

It all started with the Secret Santa. It’s a game, in which you get the  randomly chosen name of the person you should prepare a New Year’s present for. Basically, everybody knows who the present is for, yet nobody knows who from. 

At the time everything was vice versa -  everybody knew who was preparing the gift, but the receiver should have been deduced from the description from existing fairytales. X-mas day was approaching, yet none of the fairytales matched my receiver. Can you imagine my despair! Where did I have to look for the poem or a story, which would provide a similar  description of the person?!

The rescue arrived on St. Nicholas Day. I woke up in the middle of the night with a clear understanding to create the story with the description of the person, as if this story was told by someone. I promptly  got up and wrote down the text which was appearing in my imagination. It was St. Nicholas who presented me with my first story - ‘A tale of Silent Thinker’. Later, when I voiced this fairytale, everybody immediately identified the person it was aimed to. Moreover, people highlighted other ideas they noticed in the story. It was the start of my trip to the land of creating captivating stories. 

The best illustration to that would be the lines, taken from one of my fairytales: ‘When the Storyteller was writing, he felt as if he was flying above the earth and having seen him high up in the sky, all fairytales would come to him. At the moment he was absolutely elated and a happy smile could be seen on his face.When you see such a person, you might say ‘What a happy person!’ Happy people always smile, especially when they are doing what they love’. 

Being children we all love fairytales. A fairytale is an adventure, the world, where all wonders are possible and the Good always defeats the Evil. My fairytales is a metaphor, which helps to understand other people and their actions, male the right decision. I firmly believe that any fairytale can come true on condition that you believe in it.
